I’m so scared right now I can’t deal with life. Could anyone calm me down 😭
Since yesterday I’ve had pain in the very lower left part of my stomach. (Maybe it’s the ovary) In some positions it goes away but if I push (the pushing you do when going for a poop) then the pain gets bad. It feels like a knifes and it won’t go away! It can also hurt if I push there.
Sometimes its in the left of my back too but I don’t think this has anything to do with the stomach pain because if I rest for a while it goes away but the stomach pain persists.
Been having some pinching in my left side of rectum too. Goes away when I stand up.
I spoke to my dr but he has no clue.
I know this sounds so weird but I can’t do this anymore I’m so scared I can’t stop panicking. What if I’m about to die?? Has ANYONE felt this before???
😭😭😭😭

Firstly take some deep deep breaths(I know I'm a little late trying to calm you but let's try anyway)...In thro your nose and out thro your mouth....slowly. you say the doctor doesn't have a clue? Did he do bloods or arrange an ultrasound? If not....just for your piece of mind, ask to have it done. If it gets any worse...please go to the hosp. I don't want to increase your anxiety here but I can't comment on your physical pain I'm afraid i can only try and calm you. There are many different aches and pains that accompany anxiety and I think you'd be at ease if you know yourself. Has a hotty(hot water bottle) helped at all?. I don't believe you will keel over..I know the fear is so real and you are so worried..please go and see a different doctor may be. Not having a clue isn't a great or constructive answer to give a patient...nor will that help you to calm. Pain can make us worry...absolutely it can and often when it's sudden pain our emotions go thro the roof. Try the deep breathing and try sipping a glass of water. I'm sorry I can't be more help to you. Let us know how you get on...take care. J
It’s not too late... I’m still in my bed scared to death. I only video chatted with my doctor and he said he didn’t think it sounded urgent and he couldn’t think of anything that could cause such pain that could be dangerous. He only said if it doesn’t go away by Monday I could get it checked but it could absolutely solve itself with some time.
Thank you so much for trying... I know it’s not easy to help someone like this but I’m on the edge of my life it feel like :/
I know its scary....I know it's frightening you...the unknown does, its numbing and I hear you really I do. You need to try and calm yourself...let's try this whilst your reading. I want you to follow this breathing pattern( say the dot dot in your head)...ready?. Breathe in thro your nose 1(dot dot) 2(dot dot) 3(dot dot) 4( dot dot) now out thro your mouth 5(dot dot) 6(dot dot) 7(dot dot) 8.....now repeat this again...ready? 1(dot dot) 2(dot dot) 3(dot dot) 4(dot dot) and out 5(dot dot) 6( dot dot) 7( dot dot) 8. Different patterns work for others but this worked for me. If the pain is getting worse then please go get it checked. You are the only one lovely who knows. If after you have calmed the pain is severe then it's your decision....we can all support you here with anxiety..that's not a problem. I suffer from a number of tummy probs...it does get worse when I have a wobble, I've been known to fart and blow the hinges off the door on a few occasions(too much info I know I know) and it's usually spasm like pains when I'm anxious...but I know it's that bcas I've had it checked. I have gallstones so they also flare up when I'm stressed. So our bodies do the most amazing things thro anxiety which puts a fear in us we can't explain. If it means you continue writing on here until you calm then I'm around. I'm in the UK so there may be a time difference(there may not)...please feel free to chat if it helps. Try and find a comfortable position to either lay or sit in. Does sitting up help?. You are keeping hydrated yes?.
Wow Janieliza amazing comfort there im going to use this myself hope you have calmed down Catahrina my anxiety has blown its lid off this week i even went to a+e to reassure myself mine was heart palpatations and turns out eas just a panic attack but i convinced myself it wasnt that i was about to die...but picked up last 24 hours but still very edgy...this anxiety sucks big time dont it but if you have any fear then for piece of mind just get checked to ease you xxx
It does suck...massively. anxiety has a no face...it grabs you and does it's worst. It's a rollercoaster ride I couldn't get off for decades, I did eventually but still have the odd wobble(so much so I've fallen a few times). There isn't a magic wand and we can't just "snap out of it". I'm sorry your having it rough right now, the physical symptoms are very scary...very. I lost count of the amount of times I thought I was having a heart attack. Palpitations I learnt to ease...by doing exercises. It really helped. Obv I only used these after all medical checks came back clear. I'm around should you need a shoulder or chat. Take care. Janie
I know you said you went to the doctor, try going to the Emergency Room, their going to do a complete exam more than a regular doctor would do. That's what I've done.
I've had anxiety off and on for about 36 years. I haven't had it in a week, my not seem long, but nonetheless some accomplishment there. I tell myself one day at a time, tomorrow is not guaranteed to anyone. And I pray everyday. It's been working for me
Hi there Catahrina - the opening sentence to your initial post suggests you have felt anxious prior to your stomach discomfort ? And, as said above,
stress can have physical effects. Muscle tension or contraction is one.
I'm not a doctor, so can only pass on my thought. What you describe might be muscular tension affected your lower abdomin. And, if so, can involve nerve pain. Have you tried an over the counter herbal calmer ? That can calm & relax your system. Hot water bottle would help as heat relaxes.
If your constipated that wouldn't help, if so, take a gentle laxative - like Movical. As far as NHS, if you are worried by how your feeling then that's enough reason to see a Dr, if nothing else it will reassure you. Put something on TV that will either make you laugh or take your mind off how your feeling for few hours. Have a real good nights sleep.
Thank you very much for your reply. It might be tension yes since it’s better now after 2 days. I can still feel it but it’s not persistent anymore.. thanks again!
