Hello :-)

Sorry you are now going through this but look they have caught it when you go to the hospital they will get the last of it and once this is done you never have to worry over that again :-)

I know easier said than done but here I am been told I have had 2 heart attacks one I never knew I had , and this one was a bigger one which now I will have to take a lot of medication for ever , which will give me side effects which they hope I will tolerate and they will cause me to have big bruises over my body as they have already and also looking like I will have to be taken to another town to have stents put in

So focus that they will make sure they get every bit of yours now and once they have you will be fine and not have to live of drugs to keep you going :-)

You can do this Nat the fear is always the worse I have faith in you :-)

Take Care x

We all care about you. We are all your friends on this site. And no you don't annoy us. This is good news but you'll have to get the rest of it out. You've got this girl. We all love you.

Natzsteveo in reply to Sunlife

Thanks sunlife im not gonna lie i am pretty anxious today but ill be ok

Sunlife in reply to Natzsteveo

Yes. I would be anxious too. Skin cancer can be a serious thing if we don't monitor it. So glad the doctors are proactive with you and it. You may have a scar but it won't change who you are. You are who you are in your heart.

Natzsteveo in reply to Sunlife

It werent the dr it was me lol I have bad health anxiety do I constantly check myself

Sunlife in reply to Natzsteveo

I always think I have found something new. I would call them snd they would tell to wait unless it changed a lot. I feel I cannot be to careful. I tend to panic but thanks to being able to message people on here I am able to help and be helped on this site.

Natzsteveo in reply to Sunlife

Its very good isn't it

Sunlife in reply to Natzsteveo

It is. The people I have been chatting with I am comfortable with and I feel we are good friends and that they listen to what I have to say. I try to give them the same respect back.

Hang in there. πŸ€—

My aunt had melanoma a very bad type of skin cancer, same thing happened, had to go back for second surgery.

That said the surgeon will get it all, a pathologist will examine the tissue excised during surgery to be sure they got it all snd then will stitch you up.

Try to breathe, distract, anything to take your mind off this, you are going to be fine. πŸŒΊπŸ’œπŸŒΊπŸ’œπŸŒΊπŸ’œ

Thanks so much just so blooming scary glad your aunty ok πŸ‘Œ x

Hidden in reply to Natzsteveo

Any time the β€˜C’ word is mentioned completely normal and to be expected to have high anxiety.

Our doctors lack decent bed side manners as I call it, they are so matter of fact...they fail to be of comfort to their patients. There are few, but hard to come by.

So we’ll try to comfort in thier place. πŸŒΊπŸ’œπŸŒΊπŸ’œπŸŒΊπŸ’œ

Thanks so much babes means alot

Nat I've known a few people with this and they have been fine afterwards. A friend's mother got her first one in her mid 60's and had at least 3 more removed over the years. She is healthy, looks good, and is now in her 80's. It's only serious if diagnosed at a late stage and yours was diagnosed early. It hasn't spread which is the main danger.

I know the c word is scary but it's only a very small c and you will be fine. xx

Hi babes yeah the dr said they didn't get it all out thats why I'm being referred..like you said its not a biggy its just once im passed the initial shock I won't be as as bad I always think id be the unlucky sausage though I would knowing my luck

Thanks though

Nat xx

Have a look at the link

Thanks put my mind at ease just blooming scary aint it

Nat xx

Sure is. I don't have health anxiety but would be very worried too. It must be much worse for you. x

With health anxiety you just constantly think the absolute worst all the time its hard to not think the worst

Nat xx

Only the good die young Nat! Old b****** like us live forever. 😁😁🧑🧑xx

πŸ˜† 🀣 πŸ˜‚ yeah your right babes xx

Sunlife in reply to hypercat54

This is a good read. Thank you.

its basal cell and wont turn into anything else. youll probably go through a similiar procedure like the biopsy to have the rest removed.

i had a squamous cell in the corner between the bridge of my nose and eye.

had it removed and had a skin graft it culdnt be stitched up beind so close to my eye it would of distorted my eye.

dr did such a good job its barely noticable.

keep your chin up.

the worst part of this is right now the anxiety.

Natzsteveo in reply to Jamie2018

Thank you so so much Jamie πŸ’— its a huge relief

The anxiety is awful inside you say the worst part of this at the minute

Thankyou for taking the time

Dearest Nat, I've thought about you so much today that I thought I responded to your post

regarding your doctor's call. I know that you are in a state of disbelief right now but take a

look at the positive side of everything.

You had an on going sore on your head. You could have buried your head in the sand hoping it would go away but you didn't. You made a wise choice to have the doctor address it.

He took a biopsy and you finally have an answer. Now the doctor can take out the rest of it,

and you can go on with your life. When you look at things more positively, the picture doesn't seem as foreboding.

This is how I address my physical issues in life. It helps me better to accept what I have, have it taken care of so I can go on with my life. It's all going to work out for the best Nat.

Stay positive, stay strong and know that we are all with you on this journey. Sending you well wishes :) xx

Natzsteveo in reply to Agora1

Thanks agora this is a lovely message to read and thanks for taking the time to write it..

I know I will be ok but the anxiety is as always telling me its not so im trying to control it at the minute I think the anxiety is the worst part

I'm trying to stay positive and I will be fine I know it I just have to convince my anxiety i t will be

Thanks so much

Nat xxx

Agora1 in reply to Natzsteveo

Hang onto the words you wrote "I will be fine, I know it" and anxiety won't have a chance. x

Nat hold this thought each day....

"Fate whispers to the Warrior (Nat)..

You cannot withstand the storm.

The Storm whispers back

I am the Storm"...

You've got this Natzsteveo :) xx

You are so beautiful and deserve to be happy. Stay strong and count on God he’ll be by your side all the time :)

Thankyou xx

I had squamous cell cancer on my arm , went for it cutting out luckily they got it all but there were a few in with me said it was there second time as they didn’t take enough first time so try not to worry love xxx

Awww thanks so much for this it eases me so much ❀

I was called back a few years ago as I had a biopsy on a small black spot that they said was potentially sinister but they hadn't got all the dodgy tissue out. The op was OK and I've not had anything since. I can relate to the feeling "what next". There have been spells in my life when I have felt as though I am in a big dark hole, climb to the top and then get beaten down again. Just in one now!! Why can't I be more easy going and not worry or expect the worst???

Natzsteveo in reply to GJRWS

Hi there

I know that feeling ya feel like ya getting somewhere and then a massive knock back and you're back to square one ...I can relate to everything you have said its just trying to focus on not overthinking but it's so hard isn't it
