Magnesium dosage advice

Should I take 187.5mg or 375mg a day? Packaging suggests 375mg but seems excessive for anxiety

Can't find 200mg tablets anywhere, so I guess these will have to do. Does 200mg help you? and how long does it take to feel the effects?

Some days I’m not so sure if they do but I do feel overall they play a role. I have anxiety but mostly take them to try and minimize my heart palpitations.

I take magnesium Bisglycinate . There are different forms of magnesium so be weary of that too!

It completely depends on what kind of magnesium you are taking.

I wouldn't, you'd be wasting your time and in the process give yourself stomach ache and the runs with very little benefit. If you are taking it for anxiety then I'd buy a magnesium glycinate as glycine is also a muscle relaxant as well as magnesium, two for one. While oxide is cheap it is also the worst at absorbing in the body. If you have IBS or any stomach or gut problem then I'd buy an oil instead of a tablet. Drs Best chelated magnesium is a good brand for magnesium glycinate or Ancient Minerals for an oil both available on Amazon.
