Has anyone tried this? I have been doing some research in hopes of trying it to help relieve anxiety? I would love to hear your experiences good and bad.
magnesium?: Has anyone tried this? I have... - Anxiety Support
magnesium?
I'm also considering magnesium supplements for muscle spasms! Would be interested to hear answers on this also.
I use CALM magnesium drink.
does it help? is there a link?
Yes. Or google best magnesium for anxiety. I get it at Wegmans health food store or online. Check on Amazon if you have an account.
Thanks. How much do you drink per day?
You are supposed to take 1 tsp in a glass of wAter twice a day. But start slow because it can Cause diarrhea or loose stools
Yes it definitely helps me I find it very calming and I sleep better too
I think it makes me sleep much better I take it before bed but I can't say it has reduced my anxiety greatly however I have never stuck to it consistently.
Metagenics magnesium complex.
I take this for a headache disorder and it's generally given by a naturopath or a medical practitioner of some sort
It also contains other vitamins that help the body absorb as much as possible and being a powder it is absorbed much more effectively

Anyone-else dealing with FEAR???? thankx
I have fear of anxiety
Magnesium is great but while the oral supplements are good they can cause diarrhea. Magnesium citrate is the best to take orally but best of all is one that is absorbed through your skin. Magnesium chloride in a warm foot bath is awesome. Epsom salts in a bath is great too. There are some magnesium oils but they are only the mag chloride in water. I find they itch a bit when sprayed on my skin other than feet. Passionflower is a fanstastic calming supplement - i take a Blackmores Executive stress formula that has loads of B vitamins plus passionflower. B12 and B6 are integrally linked to anxiety reduction. Good luck.
