Yes I do. Many different forms.

in reply to

I use calm magnesium. It's a powder that you put in water.

in reply to

Yeah magnesium attached to citric acid, not the best kind. You find it helpful ?.

in reply to

Not really. What is the best kind

in reply to

Glycinate for anxiety and muscle pain. Calm is magnesium attached to citric acid for better absorption but citric acid doesn't do much else but does draw fluid into the intestine, give you the runs. Glycinate is magnesium attached to glycine and lysine. Glycine relaxes muscles even further helps with collagen production so gets rid of fine lines, etc. Quite a lot really. Drs Best Brand is good. The other person is correct about Dr Dean but that is just magnesium, which is very good. But she doesn't talk about the benefits of chelated magnesium, the amino acids magnesium is attached to for better absorption in the body which themselves have many benefits.

Hi Trees,

Yes, I also take Magnesium Biglycenate 200mg daily.Preferably 1 hr. before bed.

Mg is good for hearth health as well as it relaxes smooth muscles.

Mg Biglycenate is the best form to use as it is well absorbed in the gut .

Try it.

wishing you well.

Hi,

Sorry to hear about you having to rush to the ........

Magnesium Glycenate or Biglycenate should not have such a strong laxative effect as Mg citrate, however everyone is different.

Mg Biglycenate and Mg Glycenate are essentially the same. The Biglycenate has two amino acid attached to the Mg and is absorbed easier in the gut. However it does not matter which one you try. I buy the one on sale from Bulk Barn.

I agree ,with you on the side of the capsule.I try to take it with warm milk .for me it is easier to swallow.Try it.

Best of health to you.

I got them from amazon or eBay can't remember there big tablets I only take half which works for me no side effects easy on the stomach. I didn't like taking tablets so it took me a while to take them but so glad I did.

What brand did you take ?

Depending on the brand some magnesium glycinate producers buffer or fill tablets with rubbish, generally artificial sweeteners or low quality magnesium oxide. You want a Albion certified product, non buffered chelated mineral with traacs. Only that way will you receive the full benefit and no side effects only one product I know is all the above, Dr's Best Chelated magnesium.

Yours sounds like it was buffered with oxide to get the runs.

I take Dr's Best and the results are something A1.

Seems ok but not one I've heard of. Maybe it's the fact you took to much to soon. Try half a tablet a day and build up on it.

My Drs best are 100mg solid tablet's and I only take one a day. It's enough they're strong. Supposed to take 4 !! ...

Try it, see what happens

I see it doctors best

Thanks
