Anxiety about holiday

Hi I am going on holiday abroad on Sunday would usually be really excited but since developing a sun allergy earlier this year I just can’t get excited! I haven’t been diagnosed as having a certain condition but it’s looking like a rare (typically) condition called solar urticaria though my reaction to sun isn’t itchy just red patches! Want to enjoy myself with my family in the sun but worried about reaction and being really ill. I am on strong antihistamine tablets which is all I can take and apply a high factor sunscreen, and avoid sun! Gonna be tough and i am so wound up!! Any advice appreciated thanks
