I took zopiclone, it took a while to work but doctor had said to take it an hour before going to sleep anyway. But I slept til just after 7am. Later on my other daughter is popping over for couple of hours and we’re going to the park with my 4 grandsons. I’m getting a little uptight about that and they’re my family, stupid isn’t it. so have got a bit of a tight head at the moment. Is it understandable to feel like it? It’s not until around lunchtime and I know I haven’t seen them for a little while and they’re a noisy lot 😊 mornings never seem to be good for me anyway, as I can get shaky and then tense up then get those chest butterflies as I call them. The nerves and our nervous system certainly plays around with us doesn’t it?

Slept
Oh yes it's normal when we're like this.
When my son called Sunday to say he was coming over, the normal me would have been so excited.
Instead I had this feeling of doom come over me, heavy shaky legs, wobbly, sick feeling.... Crazy and so bloody annoying.
I was wobbly on the walk, but I managed it.... It wears me out though, and upsets me, thus is my family for goodness sake.
I hope you do get to enjoy it. xx
yes I remember you saying now. Family as well it’s ridiculous really isn’t it, I would normally feel the same too and look forward to it.
I had the shakiness a little bit before anyway, now just a tight head and apprehensive,
So going to have breakfast get dressed and do something else for a while xx
I get exactly like that when my kids say they are coming over. Thought I was the only one that got the feeling of doom come over me. So frustrating.
It’s really strange isn’t it especially with our own family!
It's upsetting and I get so angry with myself. It really is like a memory of bodily symptoms.
I only feel calm when I can look ahead and know I have nothing planned, how sad is that?!
I have my brother and his wife coming for the weekend in June... Normal me would be looking forward to it.
Me now is already feeling the rise in panic!!
Hi
It is really normal to feel nervous about this at this stage in taking antidepressants. I started to feel nervous about my daughter coming around that period. It went after a few months.
Enjoy your day but if the symptoms carry on when they are there never mind. Ignore the symptoms and do it anyway. You are doing great.
So glad you slept
Kim
Thank you Kim, underneath all this I’ve always been a strong willed person and that comes out every now and that’s where the battle is, I recognise it but I don’t like it xx
Hi Sam
Yes same here, I think that will help you get there. It just takes patience, time and strength actually. Remember it will throw all sorts of things at you but just ride them and tell yourself how well you are doing because you are.
I wish I had a website like this to help me when I was going through it.
I was too scared to read anything about it at all at the time.
