Hey y’all. I’ve been on lexapro since September 22nd and although I do feel a little better I still have bad anxious thoughts. Not sure if it’s still to early but I want to taper off and try a more natural approach. I’ve had shakiness muscle twitching etc. just recently found out I have a iron deficiency and low vit d not sure if that plays a role in some of my side effects. Any insight?

Have you tried upping your dose? I’ve heard lexapro is very effective!
Try magnesium glycinate supplements or L-Theanine supplements. Natural vitamins, effective for calming the nerves. I’ve been taking Anxiety-Free by Ridgecrest twice a day, and it helps. I’m also looking into get some CBD oil as well. Heard it’s very good for anxiety.
I was on lexapro for almost 2 years. It worked great for my depression but I didn’t notice any changes with my anxiety. After being on it for a while it seemed to start making things worse. After being on just the Lexapro my doctor added medications for my anxiety. The combination worked great and I felt better than I ever had. I would talk to your doc and see what adjustments you might be able to make. Good luck 😊
