Is anyone taking More than the highest dose of 20mg Lexapro?
I have been taking lexapro for many years off and on and am currently taking 20mg. I feel that it may not be working and I am having break through anxiety in the morning. Scared to take any other medicine.
It didn't work for me though it has least among the side effects,but it never worked for me.
Did you change to something else? If so what and how did you do it?
I changed to sertraline ,and its causing side effects like more anxiety
How long ago did you change? That is what I am afraid of changing to a new med and it make my anxiety worse.

it did not help me, panic attacks and other problems peristed, presently off meds, and taking vitamin B complex and Magnesium, along with counselling and meditation will see what happens.
just wanted to check in with you to see how you are doing without the meds and just taking the b complex and magnesium. Is it helping?

That's a strong drug. Do you know that what you no doubt need is Magnesium & it will work just as good as what you're taking. No drugs involved.......it helped me. Women need 300 mgs. & Men need 400 mgs.
My doctor gave me 20 and 10 because he can’t prescribe 30 so he said to just take them both...still doesn’t help. It helped so great in the beginning and I’ve only been on it for a year😔 I’m really sad and I’m looking to find something else too.
I took 40 mg for a long time. Don't need anymore so coming off. I'm at 10 mg now and am going down to 5 for a couple of months, then coming completely off.

Can I ask how long you were on 40mg for?
For 12 years...too long. I believe once you are feeling better the Doctor should say "would you like to try and come down on dosage and or try to come off?" I can't believe how dull it made me feel. I didn't realize until I started to lower the dose. I forgot that I actually like myself!!
