So I can get shooting pains ( mild ) two or three times a day. Sometimes every day and some days not at all. They are like flashes of head pain in all different spots (sides and back) it's making me anxious and think of it as soon as I wake up. Also get them without thinking about it. Nothing online to suggest what they are.

Weird head pains
It’s definitely anxiety, but it also helps to get reassurance from a doctor. Anxiety causes weird pains... hang in there, it gets better!
Thanks so much for your reply. I really appreciate it. When it happens I will start to take more control of it. Hopeful for a better week. It all came about from a stressful time which has now passed so hopefully this will too.
Hello.
Do you have other symptoms?
Muscle tightness?
Vision, hearing, swallowing?
No I don't. How come?
I, too, was getting sharp pains like something in my eye or ear. Brief, quick but would make me stop and hold my eye or ear for a bit. ( like that helped at all!) years of good weeks, followed by bad weeks. Now that it has settled in, my left jaw is displaced and my neck is so very tight it won't release...
My advice, if you'd like...
My anxiety was so bad and I was clenching my jaw so much, I now have TMJ displacement. I can't tell you the pain! I can't bite into anything like a sandwich or chew something for very long like a big salad. Please do yourself a favor and protect your teeth now if you are clenching at night. Your dentist may help. There are many nerves in that tiniest of spots in your TMJ joint. Also a prescription for anxiety may help, and if it doesn't, you'll know it is something else.
If anxiety has not been a problem in the past, perhaps a neurologist specializing in headaches. I just found a wonderful women! First time in my life a Doctor gave me info on something and told me to read up on it!
Don't do what I did, and try to self diagnose. I'm wrong most of the time.
Hi..
Yeah I do clench my jaw at times and can do it without thinking. I don't suffer from headaches as such just the dull feelings in random places. Sometimes sharp sometimes not. All started when I was stressed but sometimes you can't help but think the worst and yeah, self diagnose. Been anxious in the past this makes it worse.
You may have migraine. Get it diagnosed asap.
