Hi CJC! Yes, I can relate totally as we had 32 degrees here yesterday and my anxiety was through the roof! It's well acknowledged that heat can make us anxiety sufferers feel more anxious.

Be sure to keep a water bottle handy to chug on to stay hydrated, as being dehydrated can make you feel woozy which doesn't help us. If you can take just a couple of minutes to step outside somewhere cooler now and again, that would help. And is there any chance of getting a fan?

If you feel really overheated, use a tip I like which is to run your inner wrists under very cold water for a few minutes - it really helps to bring your core temperature down.

Remember that you're not alone and that many people, including people who don't have anxiety, struggle with the heat. Praying for cooler weather soon!

Hope this helps. xxx

Thankyou it makes it worse that there's no breeze outside we can't have fans due to health and safety it's rediculas

Ahhh, I get you totally! The whole H&S thing is a joke sometimes! I think it's pretty unhealthy if a member of staff keels over from heat exhaustion, personally!

You can get handheld personal fans for about a tenner now that are USB charged - they are pretty discreet and look like a mobile phone. Simon Cowell had one on X Factor and they're sold by an online company called FanU, if you fancy giving it a go.

The lack of circulating air is a killer for us for sure! xxx
