Dropping sensations

Recently I keep getting these feelings out of the blue where it feels like my whole body has suddenly fell ten feet and my body physically jumps back.

It's starting to frighten me.

Can anyone relate?

Absolutely can relate LucyJane2305. Pure adrenaline reaction to stress and over sensitized nervous system. It's nothing to be afraid of. It's your body's way of telling you it needs to relax. You are wound up as tight as a top. Try doing some muscle relaxation techniques found on YouTube. Practice this daily to calm your mind and your body. Are you on any medication to help you relax. It won't always be like this. Once you get back in control of your emotions, this will just fade away. You are not alone in feeling like this. We all have been through this as well. xx

I use "Sympathetic Breathing Meditation" by Quiet Mind Cafe

as well as a "5 minute Meditation with guiding voice" by the Honest Guys

Anything by these two can help quiet your mind.
