acupuncture and anxiety relief

I have been fighting anxiety for a period of time and have recently started getting acupuncture with good results. Are others experiencing same

Hi brodytexas, I have had 6 months of treatment with Acupuncture in the past.

They were meant to reduce my migraines and daily tension headaches. It was such

a worthwhile experience because it not only relieved the headaches but the bonus

i started acupuncture a few months ago and I love the relief and relaxation I feel. I have definitely noticed a difference

Haven't tried Acupuncture, but will as it may help! I just turned 80 & didn't think there was anyone near my age on this site --Am older & living alone & struggle with Anxiety all my life. Have worked on many of my fears, and some are quite lessened; but, other's still working on!

For 10 months I was on a med which helped with anxiety but the side effects made my life ugh, Nothing against anxiety medicine but for me no. So I tried acupuncture and I thought hey this really helps. What I read is acupuncture does not have to be forever. So many positive reviews. So I thought why not. It has helped me.

Yes, I think acupuncture would be a better choice than meds., as not really any side-effects that I know of! I am taking a Benzo., and have for years --Very small dose & it does help some!
