Was taking Carvedilol and stain together but stopped for increased weight gain. Sudden chest jittery panic symptoms been coming up and i just tried half tab of .5 lorazepam and the uneasiness nerves went away. question should i take this prescribed drug whenever these symptoms rise or ride it out. Also still smoke free maybe still having withdrawals?

This might be worth discussing with your Dr. Each person is different so a question like this can bring many conflicting answers. Go over any concerns you have and then trust whatever plan you come up with. If medication is the route you choose, be ok with that. It’s just easier for something like that to be answered by a professional.

Thanks for your reply. I already went to see the cardiologist and he says my blood pressure is normal and suggest me to stop taking Carvedilol and has me scheduled for a stress test and have me wearing a ekg heart moniter for 2 weeks. Just wanted to see if anybody out there are experiencing alike. Thanks

Good morning, I was taking only half a tab of .5 mg. Only when I was having bad shortness of breath and bad jitters. Probably 2 times a week. It definitely helped me get through the panic attacks and withdrawals. But for the past month, have not taken any so far. I've been taken b12 multivitamin for past 4 days and been feeling like my energy has gone up and anxiety are minimal and controllable. May be I was just b12 deficient for a while.

Hi Nancynancy, to be honest I would start taking vitamin supplements that has all of b vitamins including b12 and with magnesium, iron. Try taking them daily, u should feel more energy. Ofcourse I would also consult with doctor too, before taking any benzos where u can build tolerance with bad withdrawals.

I've never tried chantix, I just went cold Turkey. I guess that's why my withdrawals was so bad for me.
