Panic attacks anxiety attacks
Hi Joe3344, I have discovered than panic and anxiety are a strange beast to deal with piping up at any moment even in those safe spaces when your calm. For me I get hot feel a little uncomfortable and the need to escape. At other times I have acid reflux, then the fear of people, onto the sweating and irrational thoughts, the pulping heart beat and jittery legs and finally throw in hormones and you have the perfect bake of confusion and turmoil. I think the honest answer is that your body is reacting to something that as developed from past experience or something you are dealing with now. Your brain as decided to tell you enough you need support and help and this is my way of show you.
Please seek help today, these feelings are experiences are real and taking that first step to seek help places at least half of a foot on the road to recovery
I’m on antidepressants and been to a councillor, anti’s help but not the be all and end all of this affliction.
I found that doing these things help but it’s true it’s still very hard. I started walking on my own at first then with a small group of friends. That made me feel more myself. I also took myself to the gym on a good days. Swimming helped reduce those triggers and gave me back a little control. I also have those days where I sit and watch Netflix and hide, it’s ok to hide. Just remember to pop back up. Find something you like doing and do it once then again and it becomes a pattern.
I’ve recently started walking with my sis, and yes I watch Netflix with my 2 doggies. I live by myself. I can’t swim so that’s out. I also have a couple of birds.
It’s whatever makes you feel comfortable. Hang in there you not on your own just reach out
Thank you
Hello Joe, my panic attacks usually consists of all of the following symptoms: chest pain, racing heart beat, numbness in both my arms (literally can’t move a finger), dizziness, feeling like I’m going to faint and die, can’t catch my breath so feeling like I’m going to choke and extremely dry mouth, derealisation, I can’t see clear.
Everyday anxiety symptoms for me include hot flashes at night, back pain, sometimes chest pressure and feeling that I have to catch a breath, headaches, dizziness and lightheaded, fear of death. Sometimes other symptoms also occur, but these are present most of the time
I experience anxiety attacks sometimes. Often, my symptoms are shortness of breath, nausea, crying, feeling like the room is closing in, and not being able to tell someone what is going on. I am so sorry if you are dealing with this. It is a very difficult thing to go through, especially if you are by yourself. Have you told anyone what you are experiencing? It is very important to have someone who is there for you so that they can help you in any way that they can. I hope everything gets better.
