having a stressful day...: Hello everyone im... - Anxiety Support
having a stressful day...
Johnnie keep reminding yourself that you will be okay. This is something that they can fix and your kidney stone problem will be behind you. As for your heart, the cardiologist would not have let you have surgery if he had any doubts about it. Don't project down the road with fear. One step at a time. Tomorrow will be taken care of and behind you before you know it. On Monday you will see the cardiologist. You are in good hands medically. We will be here to support you through this. Tomorrow you couldn't be in a safer place. Remember that. wish you well
yeah but sense he said come back monday for montior to see wassup and to get to the bottom of it got me thinking alot when he was talking about arrythmias and nervous system syndrome he wrote a letter and gave to me to give it to the sergons basically saying to check my blood pressure i guess sense it was low when i saw him so he gave me the letter to take to them tommarow then he said he wants me to come back monday.
He definitely wouldn't have released you to have the procedure of he thought it would be dangerous to you. I know it's nerve wracking any time you have to have a procedure or surgery, especially when you have health anxiety. I've never had the shockwave procedure, but I've observed them in nursing classes. They go pretty quickly and you're not very very deeply asleep. You'll lay on a water filled pad and they might put one over your abdomen and then the anesthesiologist will give you the medication to help you relax. Then they'll pass ultrasonic sound waves through the water cushion to break up the stone into smaller pieces. After, they'll probably give you a little filter to use when you use the restroom to catch all the bits of stone to make sure it all comes out. I'll be thinking of you and wishing you a quick and easy recovery.
And try not to worry about the monitor. It will just let the cardiologist know what your heart is doing all the time you have it on and he'll be able to see patterns. Make sure while you're wearing it that you keep a little diary of what you feel, when you feel it, other physical symptoms you're having, and things like that. That will help the doctor figure things out too.
Hugs Johnnie!
Wow your good got me a little relaxed at the moment im just thinking to much because of ehats happening to my body now physically i keep thinking negative stuff like cardiac arrest heart conditions because my heart just beats fast like i have a sort of type of arrythmia and a nervous system disorder thats my body cant relax sometimes like this bad energy going uo my body and also i get these pressures side of my pulse of my head like its gets really tite then it goes away like a bad nervous energy up and down my body its stressing out my body and eveeything starting to hurt its just crazy i wish some can switch bodies and feel what i feel sometimes i think people just think im going crazy but i rather stay quite and not say a word and just be in pain right now im a bit down because of whats been going on.
You're not crazy. Not one person here thinks that, hun. Just breathe, call a friend or your girlfriend, watch a funny movie with your family, just something to keep you busy. You'll be in good hands tomorrow. Hospitals do tons of those procedures every day. When you get there in the morning and check in, they'll check you out, take your blood pressure, maybe an EKG and a lot of times if you tell them how nervous you are, they'll give you a medication to help you relax before. Let us know how it goes when you're feeling up to it. I'm sure each of us that keeps up with you will be sending positive thoughts and prayers your way. You'll be okay, Johnnie.
Wishing you the best tomorrow. Please let us know how you are when you can. I’m not going to comment much because the two ladies before me have given you great advice.
Hugs!
Hi Johnnie, I'll be thinking of you too! I think once you're there tomorrow you'll begin to relax and want it done and over with. You'll be home in no time.
Hi johnnie, I think it's normal to be anxious given you are having surgery tomorrow. Try to relax.
