So, I finally got the vaccination yesterday, and I was dreading it. I had a panic attack before hand, and I kept on feeling like I was going to throw up. When I got it, it hurt a lot, but it was much easier to go through then the last few times I had one. I didn't cry during it, and I was actually really surprised how easy it was to get past it. I felt really dizzy afterwards, but after some water I felt fine. I'm still going to try to overcome my fear more, because the anxiety before it was terrible and ruined my day.

I'm scared of a vaccination, what do I do? UPDATE
Well done you did well you had it done even though your anxiety was high.you just have to carry on and the what if thoughts are always worse than actually doing things.
Hi! Gald you're ok and put on your big girl clothes and got the vaccination. I hate needles too. Take a Foteo injection every day. But today I'm not complaining about my shot, as I am on a ship heading home where a hurricane is destroying my state of Florida...so even at my age, I grew up a little. I'll take my shot gladly if the hurricane leaves my home alone.

Hi Tayla21. I can relate. when it comes to vaccination I find any excuse to not do it. One time I was getting a simple vaccination for sinus infection. Literally 2 seconds after I was injected I started to sweat and my heart palpitations and I was dizzy and felt like I couldn't breathe. I thought I was having a reaction ( only it doesn't work that fast). Yes, the mind is very powerful and can make you believe what really isn't. I take it day by day. Best wishes to you
