I've had it since last night when out power went out due to bad storm and it hasn't left... I've tried hot bath with ice pack on the back of my neck which usually knocks it right out.... I done self massage and pressure points.... It's still here...... I took one 200mg ibprofen just now because I don't like taking anything it makes me feel drunk after I have a bad migraine especially if I take meds and I don't know why so that's why I only took one pill.... It throbs more it seems when I move around or bend down... Ughhhhhh I hate migraines... Any advice would be appreciated thanks

I get migranes too. I place a hot rag over my eyes and it helps. Excedrin extra strength works so good. But you already had pain killers so you will have to wait if you want to take those. Try to lay in a dark quiet room, that helps as well

Peppermint oil in a diffuser helps so much!! Almonds are the equivalent of 2 advils (10-12 almonds) idk the almond onr could be a placebo but it really works for me (i only get head aches but someyimes i ferl its a migraine) also if you dont wanna grt a diffuser just get the peppermint oil and rub your head with it and it will work after like 5-10 minutes its gonna really feel cold but its gonna help i promise :) and its natural

Hello

I suffer with migraines regular , I also get the Aura with them to what I do when I feel one coming on is take an aspirin ( always check with your doctor that it is ok for you to take them ) the reason I take one is because when we have a migraine it is the blood vessels that swell and aspirin I find takes down that swelling quicker so the pain does not last as long

I usually take one or two for 4 days till I can feel the migraine has completely gone as they can linger for several days

I know how unpleasant they are , and I to use ice packs to help relief the headache , but you have to try and accept them , relax and wait for them to pass :-)

Have you noticed if you get them at a certain time if certain foods triggers them ? can be worth keeping a dairy to see if there is a pattern so you can maybe avoid certain things , I know mine are hormonal , it f course does not stop be getting them and there is nothing we can do about hormones but it helps that fear knowing what is likely to be causing them and stops us feeling as anxious

I wonder if you get them regular if you have spoken to your Doctor about them as there are things they can prescribe that some find work

I just started with a migraine myself yesterday , and still have the headache so you are not alone but hopefully we will be feeling a lot better in the next couple of days :-)

Take Care x

Thanks y'all I'm all into natural ways

Magnesium, it's a mineral that opens up the blood vessels in the brain easing migraine. I used to get them ALL the time lasting all day and would end up in bed because I couldn't bare it. Now I take Magnesium I never ever get em.
