Get a check up with your doctor just to put your mind at ease.

Anxiety can effect lots of things in your body as I'm sure you know.

Can't really say anything to you other than you need to get those results. It's hard not to worry but don't be thinking the worst, it can be any number of things.

I had same symptoms as you years ago and it turned out to be IBS.

I used to be at the toilet a lot, my stomach always felt like it had knots in it and I felt sick a lot of the time. It interrupted with my day to day things as I felt I always had to be close to a toilet. I'm not bad with it anymore, I worked out what foods triggered it and also started to eat other things that helped, I also exercised more which is the biggest help of all. Now I can get on with life but before it always got in the way.

It is natural to over think things like this. We all do it.

I can probably quite safely assume that everyone here has at some time experienced the adverse effects of anxiety on ones bowel movements.

Hi, of course, it's good to get tests done, just for peace of mind. But, I am going through a bout of anxiety and depression too, and it's affected how I am eating and my bowels. I think it's more about the stress and what I am putting in my body. Like other comments, I have had to change what I eat. It could be what you are eating that is causing the anxiety in addition to the other factors. In the meantime, don't overthink too much if you can. For me, it adds the the acid build up in my system. Hope you feel better soon.

Got my test results back everything is normal.so it's my anxiety that is causing this to me but how do I do that

Stress and anxiety have caused me digestive issues. But like everyone else has said, I have had to really look at what I am eating. I have tried take refined sugar out and that has helped. Also, exercise and drinking tulsi tea. It's really an experiment. I try to focus on what makes me feel better. Otherwise I tend to overthink and we know what happens then. Good luck to you!
