Anxiety Support

Just Hurting Right Now

My mind is a container filled to the rim with significant ideas and creativity, but my hands are severed from it by anxiety, depression and PTSD. The worst of it is that no one else can see the excruciating pain I experience daily. I am handicapped by the invisible! Please...some one, anyone, provide me with a morsel of heartening.

Hi Dadtomykidsthatsit, Welcome to the Anxiety Forum. Here is a morsel of heartening.

Life's not about waiting for the storms to pass...

It's about learning to dance in the rain

As you wander through life brother, whatever be your goal,

keep your eye upon the donut, and not upon the hole.

These quotes are from the book "Learning to Dance in the Rain"

by Mac Anderson/B J Gallagher

It helps me see the positive ways of life's importance.

Hey Mr. Dad.

I've been in your shoes.

I'm still in them :) its an every day struggle.

What I've had to learn, thank goodness for my adhd, is to use my ability to hyperfocus.

You sit yourself down and you force yourself to start. Even if its just a small thing or just the planning. As long as you get started, you'll start feeling it more and more.

Even if you just sit there and doodle.

I hope you feel better.

Love from a struugling artist.

Something you may not know that may provide some sort or comfort.

Albert Einstein had mental health issues. It's well documented.

We are not alone. All the best.

Make your life the palette. Let the canvas reflects the day to day, just one stroke at a time. Pick up the brush NOW!
