I'm 71 years old from the U.S.. Owned a business in the U.S. and thought retirement would bring peace and contentment. First living in Tunisia north Africa for 4 years and now Equador south America for almost 3. I retired at 62. Childhood PTSD has returned. Nothing to do now causing anxiety and depression

my spouse is a veteran with ptsd as well as other serious medical issues he stopped taking some of his medications without telling anyone he does not want any help from me and insists he's doing just fine i'm at the end of my rope i don't know how to help him what can i do

As it says my bio I've had anxiety for years and for it but never really felt depressed until the last few years. I went through a couple of difficult situations with my husband so now I have some trust issues with that and possible some PTSD symptoms from it. I would love to find a community/group

It's been suggested that I could possibly have PTSD as well as all my over problems going back to my childhood days , I've got to say I never gave it a thought before a doctor suggested it the other day when the doctor and nurses played me a visit, what do you think ?

I am curious to see how common it is for people to actually get to a place where you can live and cope with PTSD? I realize it’s not going away and with therapy I am now facing it which is hard but will I actually ever get to a point where it won’t control my life and just stay in the background ?
