Omg....
I'm lying here awake too and have to be up for wrk in 2 hrs to do a 10 nd a half hour shift but I keep getting an adrenaline rush going through my body so badly and my heart is hurting. What could this be. Am terrified. Every time I try to fall asleep I bolt up with a shock nd adrenaline surges thru my body. I feel wide awake but I know if I don't get any sleep at all that I will be ill at wrk
Yeah this is crazy idk ehat it is but i was just laying down i feel like something just stabbed me hard or like a jump really fast and could breath i thought my heart stoped or something idk but this is like if some one did vuttiu on me or something idk this already getting out of hand i thought i was just gonna die out no where idk something just came so fast touch my chest but my heart was going slow im like wth is it
It's awful that we have to go thru this. Just wish I could sleep. I'm trying bi-aura therapy next week to see if that helps. It's £25 a session here in Newcastle and it takes 4 sessions to feel the benefit. It's one session a week but if it helps me then I don't mind paying that money at all. Some ppl have said it cleared nearly all of there anxiety which is quite promising so fingers crossed
Really think you need to take the meds Jonnie. You are posting here almost every day with the same questions. Your doctor has tested your heart and you have been told you have anxiety. Try the meds and try doing other hobbies to take your mind off checking your pulse rate so much.I am so much better since taking the beta blockers.Good luck ☺☺
I have been the same. I have suffered with anxiety for 40 years 😔 I can sometimes fall straight asleep but usually it takes a while. When I wake up, which is usually a hour to a hour & a half later my heart is racing for no reason...i've tried numerous anti-depressants, cbt, tranqullisers, sleeping tabs and exercise (I do circuit training).....this time i've ended up taking beta-blockers prn (as and when needed), against my better judgement! after reading testimonials from people about side effects etc.....They have totally helped to stop my anxiety and I feel back in control, i've only had a bit of a blip as we had a tragedy at work the other day....beta-blockers are not for everyone though...x
Do you take the beta blocker only when your heart racing ? and yeah i try not to take meds but who knows i might do need it it doesnt have to be forever
Sounds like heart palpitations. It's common with anxiety, it can be scary but not harmful
Take the medication how the dr prescribed you and relax
