I've been advised that I need to step back from my family, my mother as dementia and both my sons are special needs , I find I can no longer cope with them , when both sons comes out with so many lies and my mother wanting to die its pulling me down . Do you think I'm doing the right thing in thinking of my self . ?

Littlecook, we must think of ourselves at times or we have nothing left

to give others. Eventually when going back you will need to set aside

some "me time" each and every day where you can regenerate

It's not a selfish thing. Feel better but not guilty. :) xx
