Hi sheffield

Sorry to hear your having a bad night. You mentioned you have been sleeping really well has anything happened to trigger this off?

Do hope it settles down and you can relax and get some sleep throughout the night undisturbed.

Best wishes

That can happen if you've had an anxious dream and then wake suddenly (you don't always realise that's what has happened). My advice would be to have a cup of tea, read a book/play a game until you feel absolutely knackered and go to sleep more easily.

Hope you feel better :-)

Hi Sheffield,

have you been tested for overactive thyroid. This only involves a blood test.

From personal experience I know that this can cause severe aches and pains, sleeplesness, and horrible sweats., amongst other things.

Once diagnosed it's easily treatable. See you GP and talk things through.

thanks guys no didnt sleep much and yes henige was tested for thyroids and all ok just worrying when i wake up in such a sweat then it frightens me its such a horrible feeling someone said it could be going through change i am 37 dont know when that starts but dont think i would be suffering with panic attacks and every other symptom from that feel helpless thanks whywhy i will try not to let it frighten me tonight worried all the time now keep thinking its something else esp when i go really dizzy feel as tho i am floating and thanks take that fan you all so kind and considerate xxx

Dont write out the change , you can go on to what they call peri menopause which is the starts , it can be hard to show up when they do a blood test as they have to catch you just at the right time , I believe I started going through it at your age to be honest , even though blood tests wouldnt show it up , its only now I am 50 that they are finally saying I am , but I think it started alot sooner ...worth having a blood test as its not impossible at 37 ....also i do think we sweat with anxiety , but when hormones are also changing , for me I found that added to the sweats

I am so used to sweating at night now , I dont give it much thought , i have a fan next to my bed & if I wake up sweating , i just pop that on , these sweats have been going on for years , they said as well they thought it was a combination of anxiety & hormones when I have questioned it with GP

I have been feeling anxious this last week or two & this week i have been going really light headed & dizzy , i no it can be hard to believe , but anxiety does give us these symptoms , i keep trying to just ignore it & let it come & go

Hope you feel better about things soon

Love

I had the blood tests done for years they were always fine as well till now , but when you read about peri menopause it does say you can still be in it because at that stage the early stages it can be hard to pick up ..

Yes put your feet up , something nice maybe on TV ? & have something special you like ;)
