Feeling depressed

Hi my name is geovannie and I have generalized anxiety disorder and whenever I get bad anxiety I always feel depressed. But lately my anxiety hasn't been that bad. But I feel like I can't talk to nobody but my therapist. I am not as happy as I used to be and only one time I had suicidal thoughts but not that much. I just want my life back I feel like my anxiety took over my life and I am always miserable.

Please I really need somebody to talk to. It would help me a lot.

Hi Geometro, I glad to see you do have a therapist. You seem to be stuck in going forward at this point. After awhile of living in this anxiety world of ours, it tends to be hard to get back into the mainstream of life. Little by little, you are going to have to reach out to others who are positive. Talking with your therapist is good to a point and then you need to concentrate on letting go of the past problems and not keep rehashing them over and over. You say your anxiety hasn't been that bad lately, but you are not as happy. No one can help you stop feeling miserable except you. Your negative thoughts have to stop. You need to get involved with things that make you happy, get your self-esteem back and start conquering your unhappiness. You certainly are not alone, sometimes we trade one mental issue for another. It seems like depression has taken over for a bit. Talking it out may help you to heal.

Write in a daily journal notebook what ever is troubling you this will help you to offload and have a better nights sleep. Believe me it works especially when there is no one to talk to.
