Last night I had the worst anxiety attack I feel I was going to go insane my head keep thinking weird things and felt like I was going to explode like I had no control I had to take Ativan to calm down but I am so scared couldn't be the busporine anyone please help

Sfqueen, how are you doing today? I'm sorry you are getting break through anxiety attacks. It usually takes 2-6 weeks to work but if you are still feeling this bad, I would say call the doctor and see what he suggests. You so need a break from the anxiety. I feel for you. xx

Hi thank you for your reply. I saw my doctor they want to put me on lexapro a very little dose and keep the buspar :/ the only thing that is making my anxiety worst right now is that I have brain fog a lot I forget my associate names sometimes when I speak I get confused so I am freaking myself out thinking it could be something else and I will get worse

Hi Sfqueen, I'm on Lexapro as well. It might help the buspar to work better for you. Try not to worry about the brain fog, we all get that at times. I do. It might be the worry over everything that's causing it. I hope they find a good balance of meds for you. Keeping you in my thoughts. xx

It's been the best med out of everything they tried on me. I've been on it 5 years now. I take it with my lunch and never have any tired or drowsy feelings. I wish that for you.

P.S. I started on 10mg and went up to 15mg. Can even go to 20 but am doing well on the 15mg. x
