Lately I've been feeling like I have low blood pressure. I feel the usual symptoms still, but not all day every day like they were before.
I just shipped off my Zio patch (2 week holter monitor) and they'll analyze it and send it in to my specialist. I had an echocardiogram done today and my treadmill stress test had to be rescheduled until tomorrow. I'm pretty nervous about the stress test. I'm really not looking forward to it to be honest, because I really hate doing anything when I feel like I'll faint and anytime I'm in a public place I feel that way. I am looking forward to getting some answers though.
Has anyone here had a stress test before? What was it like?
I had an exercise stress test a few years ago... I was lightheaded for weeks leading up to it. I didn't pass out. If you've never passed out before, it is highly unlikely that you will tomorrow. Good luck ☺️
I've had the exercise stress test. It isn't bad at all, and I dont think you will pass out. There will be a nurse present so s/he will look after you. During the test, they have you walk briskly, or run, until your heart reaches a targeted rate. While doing this you are hooked up to monitors. It is a pretty quick test.
I've had one done. Of course I was a nervous wreck the entire time. I was there for 5 hours! first it was ultrasound of heart. Then on a treadmill to test my heart. Then inject the ink stuff, wait for 30 mins and on the machine that takes pictures of your heart very very slow. Then ultrasound on heart and neck. Results came out normal. I'm sure I'm forgetting some details bc all I remember was being extremely stressed out and highly anxious. Wishing you the best!
It seems like you have agarophobia, you may need to look it up. I hope you get better soon. I will pray for you as well. Try not to get upset are too stressed. You will be cured.
I had all those test brotha. All negative, in fact the nurses said they never saw someone run so fast and far on the treadmill. No matter how awful you feel with anxiety its crazy how we can still be fully functional.
