Depression

Been brilliant apart from spaced out had my tablets changed on Wednesday now I feel as thou I'm back to square one thinking stupid

Was there a reason they changed your meds ?

When we change meds it can take us a while to adjust and this no doubt will be what is happening but hopefully in a few weeks you will feel the benefits and if not you can speak with your Doctor but fingers crossed you will not need to because they will be working

Are you an member on Action on Depression as you have Depression as your title for your post so I was wondering is you feel depressed because of the change of meds or if you are suffering with Depression but I have put you the link of the Depression site which will take you straight to the Community if you are not already a member as the more people we can talk to that might relate when we are feeling down I think the better

I'm not sure but if I'm not a member I soon will be yes it's knocked me right back down again where I was before

A change of meds can sometimes make us feel this way but usually we do pick up again so try to stay positive and give these new meds a chance to work x

Yes I'm trying to bare with it I was fine up until this so I'm definitely thinking it's this and nothing else as I turned all my negative thoughts into positive and the doc said I'd go down with a boom

Sounds like it is the change with the medication then , I would give it a couple of weeks and if I was still feeling the same I would go back and let the Doctor know , if the others were working ok not sure why they messed about and changed them but there must be a reason and they should know best so I am sure everything will be fine x

Yes I'm sure too defo the tablet change yer going to go bk if no better in 2 weeks x

I had one doctor try to put me on a med but I could not tolerate it.  A while later he wanted to try again so we started with liquid drops until a teaspoon and then to a pil form.   At that point it was fine!  Just couldn't tolerate all at once.

I've been advised to stop my fluoxitine coz the side effects I was getting
