Hello
Yes this can be anxiety and anxiety can make you get these feelings but it may be a good idea to have a word with your Doctor , let them check everything is fine because that will hopefully help to reassure you
Take Care x
Hi. I know exactly what you mean. In my case I had two heart attacks this year and spent a lot of time lying down resting. That led to me getting very severe back pain and what I thought was pain in my chest. It turned out not to be 'in my chest'. The pain came from my rib cage, due to the fact that i was lying on them a lot more than usual. The doctor gave me strong painkillers, which I combined with less lying down. Apart from occasional twinges the pain has gone. The first thing to do is to rule out any obvious things like heart problems. Speak with your doctor and ask if you can get some tests done.

Thank you for replying, sorry to hear you suffered from two heart attacks makes me feel guilty for thinking about having one when you've actually experienced one, what sort off tests can they carry out to check your heart I was in a+e about 3 weeks ago with kidney pains and they checked my heart as blood pressure was high, my ECG Results came back normal can that change dramatically?
If your ecg was normal at the time then no problem. The hospital ecg is very reliable. I assume they also took blood? The blood test would absolutely confirm if you has heart attack or not through certain enzymes in the blood released b y the heart after an attack. If negative then you did not have a heart attack. Like I said earlier, it is sometimes hard to distinguish between heat pain and skeletal pain in that area. I can tell you, if you had a heart attack you will know about it. It is like no other pain I ever had.
