If you cannot stop crying then there is something wrong, please go to your doctor, you obviously are going through depression. Your family sound supportive, take your Mum with you if that helps. You may be clinically depressed or it could be hormonal, I hope you get a diagnosis so you get better soon. Get an appointment today๐๐๐
I'm seeing a therapist right now I have general anxiety disorder and ocd. I'm crying because of how severe the anxiety is I can't stop how I'm feeling it's so frightening but thank you so much
Glad you are getting help, I do feel for you, I hope you soon feel better ๐๐xx
Try to hang in there it is hard sometimes for family and friends to understand. I was one of those people who didn't at one time. Maybe have your family sit with a counselor to help educate them on what your going through. I am sure the love you and maybe they just feel helpless cause they don't know what to do for you. Sit down with them and have a plan on how to work it out together and tell them your just looking for some support and understanding so you can get through each day a little easier. We all need to be a little more educated about this stuff I know I am learning every day with what works and what doesnt. Treat every day as a brand new day and do what ever it takes to bring peace in your life. Good luck
Does your physician have you on any type of medication ? If not, this could play an important part in your recovery. But in addition to medication, you must work with your therapist to uncover the deeper reasons of why you are in depression.
The medication helps your depression so that you can benefit more from the therapy. They work together in tandem to help you shake off this depression.
I have been through the same thing you are currently going through.
God bless you and help you get through this difficult time . Please report back to us.
We care about you, and many of us have experienced depression like you are
experiencing now. You WILL get through this with the help of both medication and talk therapy ! We will keep track of you.
Thank you for the kind words I'm not doing too good having withdrawals from being .5 mg of ativan for 2 weeks and don't know what to do I've gotten blood work and check up but I'm still worried about these symtoms
Hi there, ur not alone im in the same place at the moment...have u been to the docs ?? xx
Hi Mckay, I totally understand your crying. I was diagnosed with GAD several years ago but continue to keep crying every morning because of the severe physical symptoms I feel with anxiety. I talk with a therapist over the phone several times a week. Today, I saw my psychiatrist who doesn't really say anything but just shakes his head agreeing with what I'm saying. I leave his office in the same state I walked in with. I have become afraid of everything now and don't like leaving my home. So I know how you feel, I'm lonely too because I've made myself that way by getting tired of people not understanding.
