Hi all . Does anyone else get quiet upset and dwell on something someone said to you that’s putting you down in a text message ?? I have been thinking and feeling gutted at a comment a so called kind of friend said to me in a message . Just can’t get it out of my head and we are not that close at all . Now because of that , while driving home from work this morning I felt really sick , mind racing and my heart rate 120 . I’m feeling dreadful . I could just sit and cry 😢

All the time! My brain is like a hamster wheel in the dumb stuff but has no clue about the good! That’s me to a tee! Idle minds breed negativity though. Keep going! Maybe you could ask her about it nicely for clarity? I hate texting because you can’t tell expression or tone. I’m constantly taking people the wrong way. Either talk about it or let it go. Change what you can. Accept what you can’t. Live in the moment. I’m a hypocrite though. My husband said something to me December 23, 2016 at apx 9:30pm I’m still obsessing over. Don’t be like me! Talk it out. I never have. It just really hurt me and I don’t know his intent.
hi, I get upset about the smallest of things, not just by text. suffering anxiety/ depression at moment, I know what you mean it just continually nags away in your head. I even obsess over things that happen years ago. I have no answer to make things easier for you although the person sending the text may not mean it has you read it. to me face to face is best. if you don't start feeling better go and talk to your gp. good luck x
Thanx dillydally1 . Yes she meant it as it read as there was a few comments prior that was smart arsy. I’m way better today but it really upset me . And the thing is we not great friends at all . I suppose it hurt because I’m always the first one to say are you ok or do you need help and I get this in return . But as the saying goes you ,can’t put brains in monuments lol . I just think that and it makes me feel better . Bloody anxiety and overthinking .
You can’t change anyone but yourself and how you react to things. As well as the company you keep. If not important rid yourself of the negativity in your life and focus on the good.
