HI Lit x Its hard to answer this one correctly without some other information, but assuming you have anxiety hence why here, I would say this is completely normal x Anxiety can cause us to over think and analogize everything to the worst degree. So the silliest of things to some become our deepest fear x Have you been to your gp to see about therapy or such ? It could be a huge help to you xx Sorry could,nt help more x Donver x

Hey litsbee i completely agree with DONVER22, you are probably over thinking over analogizing everything to the worst degree..So what you could try is trying to learn how to realize when your "lost in negative thoughts", & when you find you are to distract those thoughts with mindfulness.. The more you distract them the less you will get in general, but it does take a few months practice.

Thanks.. Dave n Donver .. i have never been to GP for this...i am unable to concentrate in any thing.. either work or while playing.. i am doing something and thinking something.. i try many times to concentrate but i am not.. my memory is effected so much that i am unable to remember...

See it as a catch 22 situation litsbee because that's what it is, so to get better at concentrating you have to practice concentrating..While at work instead of thinking about other things, try to really concentrate on the job or task in hand..So the more you can practice being in a state of no thought by mindfully doing something, the less thoughts you will get in general..Try mindfully washing up or ironing etc, where all you do is maintain your focus on the washing up or ironing..Your mind will drift often, & when you find it's drifted refocus back on whatever your doing at the time..Lets say your washing up & your mind drifts, when you catch it you then use your senses to distract the thoughts..You refocus your attention by feeling the water & looking intently at what your doing, & look at the various shapes of what ever your washing up, & the bubbles etc..A great way to start practicing is to sit in a quite room & meditate, & when ever negative thoughts come distract them by listening intently to the silence..
