I was thinking I was overcoming this few months of my anxiety but today eyes have felt heavy and sore. Also how come when I look in the mirror I can see the red veins on the eyes? No one else I know can see them or have them! Does anyone suffer with this?

Hi yes I do. I do have dry eyes and the options told me to get some drops for dry eyes and it does help.i do find that when I am stressed or very tired my eyes do get dry and sore.

Xx

I have little veins too and they worried me a few weeks back. Like winter says It looks like dry eye as I googled this( naughty me) I get sore heavy eyes too I think it's the stress some days. I have the optician tomorrow so I will be asking xxx

My Mum suffers from dry eyes every day and she has some drops. It took my Dad an hour to put drops into my eyes as I kept moving my head and jumping away lol. I also think I've not been wearing my glasses for internet so maybe it's why this is happening now

I think ur prob right where ur glasses are concerned. Lol that made me laugh as that's me with drops jumping around all over lol xx

I've worn contacts for 35 years and the optician says that as my eyes have aged they produce less tear fluid and consequently I have very dry eyes not helped by too much PC work. Also when you're anxious you tend to stare and not blink as much (well, at least I do).

Quite often my eyes are red and scratchy.

I did notice I stare and not blink that much. How strange. Got red eyes this morning but using glasses now and taking rest from using computers all day. Give my eyes a rest now and then

Dunno about dry eyes, but whenever I have felt anxious in the last 14 years since I fell ill, my eyes have often felt heavy...

To the point where I also have one eye that looks like I have a permanent black eye in photos!

Of course Doctors dismiss any such symptom as thin air..

I have at times found it hard to maintain eye contact.

Gutted my opticians appointment has been cancelled :-( boo!

Talking about black eye issues. On my Dad's side of the family, we all have dark shadows under our eyes. My doctor finds it strange but it's normal for us but some photos it does look like I've been punched a few times!

Eye is still playing up. The vein under my eye lid is huge and at times my vision is blurred. I've got some muscle cramp in my feet and I am thinking it's something bad. I can't see my doctor until next week so should I just keep an eye on it (not a pun!)
