back at my apartment

I made it back to my apartment. I spent two days with my boyfriend after the cruise. I just got back and I really want to nap, but I’m stressed about packing for my move. I’m now moving out August 20th so I have extra time to pack, but I feel guilty for resting right now.

My plan tonight was to unpack from the cruise. Then I was going to make a list. Choose one thing to do each day to pack/get ready to pack. My one thing today would be unpacking from the cruise .

Glad you have a plan. Plans don't always get followed though, and that's okay. I've learned that if you need rest you need rest.

I understand that. Moving is definitely overwhelming! Take a break, though. You deserve it!☺️

My attitude precisely! More than a month away! Proud of you for doing that cruise, btw. Did you get your Mojito?

I always make lists of the things I have to do, as I’ve got older it’s great to know what you have to do, then I tick them off as I go along so I wont forget things .

You now know that you can do anything that you put your mind to, after going on that cruise, anxiety is not going to stop you living your life , but make sure rest is on your list too, so that you won’t be stressed, one day at a time😘

Try to calm down. Moving is a hassle but there are ways to help minimize the stress of moving. 1) Do you have enuf boxes? 2) Paper to wrap those delicate items in? Newspapers are ideal for this. 3) Tape to seal boxes with & marker to write what is in each box & room it came out of. 4) If you are moving your dressers take out each draw. This not only makes it easier to carry that piece of furniture but no need to take everything out of drawers to pack. Enlist the aide of friends / boyfriend!!! Make a small party of it or go out for dinner. Don’t look at his as a chore; but as a be phase of your life. Change is always a big scary. But you CAN do this!

***This also night be a good time to down- size! Get rid of”stuff” you don’t use, can’t wear or can’t remember why you have it!

Not what you're looking for?
