you can take the klonopin morning, noon and night.
if should reduce the anxiety significantly
once the lexapro builds up in your system and starts to work you will not need the klonopin as much and eventually you can take it only when you feel anxious.
continue with the regimen and in time your ability to take deep breaths, to eat and sleep without restlessness will return.
I'm not sure if this was for me. I just happened to see it.
I've had to endure many med changes and none were easy but nothing has been hell. I would make my changes when I knew I had a few days off that way I could rest and sleep through the hard parts.
Please don’t eat too much ? I can’t eat at all. I had a doctor take me off the Xanax and replace with klonopin to help but it does nothing I’m in very bad shape
Dear Hope61, I have been on so many different meds I can't even remember them all and some have had severe side effects. Last year I in a deep depression and was suicidal. They put me on Zoloft and Lithium and it caused a heart attack. Then instead of weaning me off the Lithium they increased the dose. I was a shaking quivering bundle of nerves, hyperventilating, and scared. I finally decided to stop the Lithium and the withdrawals were awful. At the same time, the pharmacy changed the manufacturer of my xanax so that wasn't helping me either. I am very sensitive to brand changes in my meds. My body knows when there is a change. I wish I had good advice to make it easier for you but all I can say is to drink lots of water to flush the drugs out of your system and taper down slowly but as fast as the doctor says you can go. If the doctor isn't helping, find a new doctor. I also had to do that in the last 12 months. Some of the younger ones are just throwing pills at use and trying to see what helps. Get someone who is older and more understanding. Good luck.
I'm not a medical professional to tell you what to do but speak to your dr asap!! Maybe it has to do with stopping a medication cold turkey or maybe those are side effects or having to take many meds at once. Definitely don't delay to speak to your dr.
I hear you. Klonopin is extremely addictive - and has dangerous withdrawal effects. Are you out of the medication? or just not in the 4 hour wIindow? Believe me, I was on this medication for over 5 years - I got treatment in rehab, and was able to go off it in a safe medical environment. I am grateful. Yes, it was hard, and I had to deal with the feelings I was numbing with the med. I'm sorry you are going through this. Take care.
Neither one of those drugs should be stopped abruptly. The best thing is two slowly reduce the intake before stopping. I hope you get some help and relief soon. I use CBD oil underneath the tongue for anxiety and depression. It helps a bit. Allow the oil to absorb into your mucous membranes for atleast 15 seconds before swallowing.
