Struggling with the loss parents and divorce. A lot of changes in a short amount of time. Medication isn’t helping much. Just started therapy. I do like her. I’ve only had 3 sessions. Hoping to find some positivity in this.

sorry for all of your loss. that’s great you have had 3 therapy sessions and that it’s going well, wow big bonus. I hope you’re able to sort through all of your feelings.
You sound like you've been through a lot. I'm glad you're in therapy. The therapy takes time. The medication might take some time too. Hopefully, the pieces will start fitting together better for you soon.
Thank you! I hope so too. I’m still hanging in there. 🙂 If it would just let up a bit of be happy. I even quit my job as director of daycare. Made things worse, but I was just so stressed and wasn’t dealing with my losses.
It's was a flood of emotions for me when I first started therapy. There were moments of relief and moments where I wasn't sure I'd make it. But I eventually made it. You will too.
Lost my mother who I was very very close to in 2021 divorce the same month. Lost home, job editing I worked for for almost 20 yrs. Couldn’t dream with going to court. Dealing with mom’s passing. Father passed in 2022. I’m an only child so it was hard to watch them pass alone.
