MRI machines are loud. If you've been inside one you know there are some freaky noises and you swear it is breaking down. I am claustrophobic too, big time ANXIETY! This time I had to go in face down. I know from experience to pull my mask under my chin and make sure I can breathe. I was in a panic as the table moved me inside. The technician put on the headphones and I requested classical music. I had to hold perfectly still. I tried to go to my happy place but instead I turned off. 45 min later I felt the table move and she pulled the headphones off. I was confused. I couldn't indulge fight or flight so my brain went to play dead.

I fell asleep while getting a MRI
Your session lasted 45 minutes. That’s awesome you fell asleep. Not many can. I pretend it’s a tanning bed and shut my eyes before I go in. I get my brain tuned into the rhythm of the noise and think of a tropical paradise and drop off to sleep. Ear plugs of course. They help a bit.
Wow, you are amazing!!!! I went in w 2 Ativan and they didn't even touch me, I was so anxious I was climbing the walls, almost had to reschedule. Wow again, you did great... I hope the test results come back good for you...
Wait....say again??? You fell asleep? That is SO COOL!!!
That's pretty cool you could do that. My sister IG can fall asleep in one of those.
When I had mine done, I didn't get any music just ear plugs and stuffy around my music. No music for me except for the one that plays in my head 😂
The noises reminded me of EDM dance hall or house party music. So I grooved to it 😂
