It’s been a while

So the last time I was on this site was about 8 months ago. At that time, my life was in shambles. I had just been dumped by a man I loved more than myself (red flag there) and was fired 3 weeks later when I was at the Er with my asthmatic son. On the verge of losing our home, I was a wreck! I stumbled upon this site between the break up and the firing and omg y’all helped me more than you could ever know! I just wanted to say thank you and hope everyone has been doing better and know that it does get better!! Hugs!!

I’m glad to hear you are doing better. I hope your son is better also. My son used to have asthma, so I know how scary those ER visits can be. Take care.

Aww I’m glad to hear he’s better. It’s so hard when they’re little like that.

Glad to hear that you found some help and solace on here!

In a similar situation, had a rough time with health and work. Then my wife left me and I had to leave my home 3 months ago. Speaking to people on here about health and various other things has been a great help! Doesn't cure you be reassuring and nice support.

Sorry to hear about everything you have been thru recently . Yes it’s not a cure all but it does help to talk about it and get some perspective or sometimes just venting alone helps. I hope things start to look up for you

Can’t put a price tag on getting good support, you have gone thru a tough time, now it’s in the past, a new day.

How did u help yourself out of the shambles of life?

I was fortunate enough to find a job within 2 months so I was able to keep my place. I was in a bad place mentally however. I started to drink a lot!! Made some not so smart decisions but we love and learn and I definitely have learned from my mistakes. I have to remind myself that no matter how much life seems to beat me down sometimes, that it could always be worse and there is only up from here

Cute pic Mama!! I hope you're feeling as good as you're looking. 😍
