A great one gone

I can no longer watch Anthony Bourdain shows. It gets me really really sad. And I used to enjoy him very much.

People don’t realize that alcohol is a long time depressant. Although he had other issues that contributed to his death. Alcohol and drugs is just a temporary fix.

I wish I can view him again as the great chef he was not as a person who suffered.

I can relate to that. I didn't follow him closely but I always appreciated him. I think it can be hard to think about celebrties as real people untill tragedy happens. I hope the stigma agaisnt mental ilness goes away some day, so that Anthony Bourdain nor anyone else feels like they have to suffer alone ever again.

Those that are rich and famous struggle like the rest of us. We only see part of their life, and it is so sad when there life ends unexpectedly. One can be lonely in a room filled with people.
