husband now yelled at me and it makes him angry watching me mope around… I hate that I’m a burden and a lack of positivity. Sorry for holding him back from being able to go out and make friends because supposedly it makes me “jealous”. Which is far from the truth. It’s more that he thinks he is doing so much by not having a job…spending on whatever hobbies he wants.. especially drinking alcohol and when I asked if he was able to vacuum after I had come home from work he states he acts like I don’t think he does anything when he has been busy in the computer researching all day… I have nothing to say to him because it pointless trying to make him understand …

Unemployment, is the worst situation to be in. You just have to help, with Job search or interview technique and in helping you are helping yourself too. Just get through this rough times. You will be rewarded if you keep trying, stay on track and keep hope.

Sounds like he is projecting his insecurities on you. That guilt trip shit is a form of abuse. What is holding him back is his inability or lack of desire to hold a job! Maybe he needs an ultimatum. Either contribute or gtfo. However, if you feel he is dangerous and could escalate to physical violence, don’t confront him, just gather your stuff and your dogs and get out! A relationship takes work by both partners and work doesn’t seem to be his favorite subject. Maybe he’s depressed as well and going through a rough patch, but it sounds like more than that to me.

I'm so sorry you're going through this with your husband, especially yelling at you. Have you reached out for help or therapy for yourself? For me I had therapy my anxiety and PTSD a few years back and found out that it was my marriage that was giving me problems. I have now been divorced for 2 years and even though it's no fun to go through, The lack of support that I received and the abandonment in my marriage was too much for me to take. I hope all goes well for you.
