I'm Jackie. I have dealt with social anxiety, general anxiety, and depression my whole life. I found this site through a google search and have read many of your struggles. It is comforting to know there are others out there who have the same issues I have. I'm currently struggling with intimate relationships and dating. I have had break up after break up and cannot seem to find the right fit in my life so any comforting remarks on how to heal after multiple broken hearts is appreciated.
Life in the earlier years can be like that, looking for the person who has the same wishes and expectations in Life in general. We all seem to go through Partners like no tomorrow however you need to remember, those people who has passed through your life are not the right ones for you and possibly theres as well.
Be selective in your expectations, you are looking for someone who will be hopefully be with you for life and that means some relationships will not fit your needs.
Respect yourself and try not to be in any hurry. We have been married now for over thirty years now, however we all go through bad times, the right future partner may be some time in the future it will be that person who will help you and give support throughout your years together

Thanks Bob. This is helpful and comforting.
Hi I'm trying to find or create a support group, I just joined today in here and I am trying to reach out. I have the similar expirience.
Hi Jackie, I read your post. I don’t know how to help you there. Due to my anxiety I’ve always been afraid to date anyone. I would think what if they don’t like me due to these anxiety and what if they cheat on me because of these anxiety. Don’t get me wrong I’ve only had one boyfriend(ex)and now I’m stuck with him forever(lol) due to the kids. And he broke up with me wanting to date others. I was sad because I felt I had nothing to give someone else. But I rather be alone than with someone that doesn’t want me.
