I am new here and hoping to find a kind and non-judge mental space. I have been dealing with anxiety my whole life but just recently started feeling it so much more.
I often feel nauseous. Is this common for anyone else? Also, how do any of you deal with being misunderstood?
Thank you in advance ❤️

Welcome pasl. I think you will find this to be a wonderful group of caring, non judgemental people who have many great suggestions. I suffer from anxiety disorder with panic attacks, depression, PTSD and chronic pain. I feel nauseous too at times. Not sure if it's from my anxiety or something else. If the nausea isn't too bad I can usually relieve it by slowly eating some saltine crackers. I take a bite and count the number of times I chew trying to get to five. This helps my anxiety too because it distracts my mind. If the nausea is bad I take Zofran 2.5 mg. I have a prescription from my primary care physician and can take up to three a day. I have also noticed that I get nauseous when I haven't eaten. I carry a small bag of crackers or nuts in my bag. Sometimes will throw in a granola bar. This helps too. Hope some of these suggestions are helpful. HUGS and BLESSINGS!
Thank you so much for the tips, I will give them a try ❤️

Have you tried MINDFULNESS Relaxation Techniques, also Breathing techniques.
Books on Mindfulness cost about $10.
Have words with your GP and discuss how you feel, explain your feelings of sickness and Anxiety, hopefully He will set you down a pathway where you can address that Anxiety

Hi there pasl. Being misunderstood causes me anxiety and depression a lot. Dealing with misunderstanding for a long time. I learned to let these people think what they want to think. Judge if they want to judge. I know myself better than they are. I will not be drawn into their web of deceit. ")
