If the dizziness and off balance is a new thing , please make an appointment with a doctor ! I had 4 months of it and they couldn’t find the cause . I had to go back to my antidepressants and I got better .
If the chest pain is new , you should also check with your doctor ! I have been diagnosed with costochondritis so I have chest pain every day .
The falling sensation is normal !
I am so sorry your anxiety is off the roof ! It can make very hard to fall asleep ! Are you taking any antidepressants at the moment ?
Hi! Did you know theres a head maneuver that is very effective in stopping vertigo. Ive had vertigo a couple of times and it's teribble so I know what you're going through. I tried the maneuver and it went away. Search vertigo head maneuver on you tube & it'll come up. Follow it step by step. Keep us posted on how u feel.
I am so sorry you are dealing with this! I do have trouble sleeping sometimes when my anxiety is bad. Have you talked with a doctor about your symptoms? They can try to figure out what is causing them and ways that you can prevent them from happening again. I hope everything goes well!
I told my dr yesterday and he told me it’s my anxiety and until I gain control of that it will be hard for me to sleep so I am opening a lot about what I been going through
I get the exact same as you, Steph, it is bloody awful! That jolting sensation, just as your drifting off absolutely terrifies me. I convince myself that it’s me stopping myself from dying, then I’m too scared to go back to sleep in case I die, then I don’t sleep at all which worsens the episodes. Awful. I know exactly how you feel, you’re not alone.
My anxiety attacks have given my chest a run through the mill too - it’s inflamed and angry which really isn’t helpful in the “convincing myself I’m not dying” pep talk I have to give myself.
