I'm new here, the name is Brittany! I have high functioning anxiety, and panic disorder. I am currently going through a relapse of depression, which is making my day to day life and school hard. I haven't talk to my doctor yet about it, and I plan to the next appointment. So during the meantime, I'm joining this support group :)

Welcome! I too suffer with anxiety and depression it's an everyday struggle for months, cry a lot lately, tried different meds for months and nothing has worked so far , I'm seeing a new doctor on May 9th hopefully he will be able to help me, I have no energy , don't like doing anything at all , it's hard to even push myself 😞

I completely understand! It's honestly so hard! Especially trying to go through with college! How are you handling things?

Maybe I need to push myself to walk since the weather is getting better here in the Twins Cities Minnesota, when I see the new doctor next month that means will be sicker , when starting new medication it gets worse before it gets better, that is if the new medication works, tried so many different meds including natural ones and so far nothing works

I already told someone about this on here: But try using peanut butter, or if you don't like peanuts (@me) or are allergic to them, almond butter. Take a spoonful of it when you're feeling anxious or when you feel like you're going to have a panic attack. This was told to me by a counselor, so it's reliable info :)

Really?! Peanut butter will help to stop a panic attack. I just recently became allergic to peanuts but maybe sunbutter will work. I never heard of doing that.

I love peanut butter, do I eat it everyday?

My counselor said to do it whenever you're feeling anxious, so if you feel anxious everyday, I would do it when it starts to get overwhelming. (That's what I personally do, but most of the time my anxiety is manageable)

No, I don't they come and go whenever. I've woken out of sleep and had one. It could be linked to childhood trauma, like subconsciously the thing that triggers it.
