Hello, just introducing myself. I'm new here. I've been reading posts for a couple of weeks but too scared to post because I have low self esteem and feel dumb. I suffer from bipolar, mdd, anxiety, emetophobia, and agoraphobia to mention a few. I haven't left my house since January so, that's what I'm working on currently. Thanks to everyone here for being honest and brave posting.
Welcome.. so glad you got up nerve to post. My heart goes out to you, you are dealing with a lot. As many of us are. No judgments here. Hope you have a good day.
Welcome to the group! Reaching out is a great first step. Please share what you are comfortable with, and you should get many replies. Sending peace and positive energy. πππ
You are the most welcome here. We all have problems and conditions and you can be sure that, whatever yours is, you will neither be judged or evaluated thru it.
This community is open-minded and accepts differences and difficulties, as it is built on them.
Welcome to the community and kudos for writing your first post! As others said share what you feel comfortable sharing. We all have issues we've been dealing with, some a short while, some for decades. Hope you receive the support you are seeking and begin to feel better.
Welcome, so glad you joined us. I understand your feelings of feeling dumb. I always felt that way even after obtaining my nursing degree. My father told me I wasn't smart enough to go to college and become a nurse. Even though eventually after alot of encouragement from a therapist I did obtain my RN license. However it always stuck with me that I wasn't smart. I also still have fear about posting. I have had so much judgment against me during my life especially these last 5 years after my boyfriend committed suicide, that I still fear being judged. The harsh judgment hasn't come from this community but the one I live in here at home. It took a year before I could leave my house. So I understand a little what you are going through. Just give it time here you don't have to share your deepest darkest secrets. I think you can learn alot just by reading the posts Iike you have been. π€ Hugs!
You made it through anatomy you ain't dumb. Jus' sayin'. Just because someone says something, it don't make it true. In my experience, the nastier the comment is, the less likely it's about anything good for you.
Hi Swilly79, Welcome to the forum. We all have our ups and downs, some days things are particularly bad. Take some time off, if you could, just rest and be at peace. Avoiding crowds can help but keep company of things or people who love like your books, pets or family. Sometimes, learning something new like drawing or a new language also helps to focus and overcome one's fears.
You are welcome here... it's a safe place with many supportive members. So happy for you're getting comfortable with everything. Keep posting and engaging and you'll fit right in. Welcome to your new extended family ππ
