A little time away

I decided to go to my sisters for the week to get away for awhile.

As some of you know who have read my other posts, I quit my job a few weeks ago. I got back on my meds and I’m seeing a therapist but I’m feeling so off. I really don’t feel like myself. I was sitting Inside my apartment for 2 weeks..I need to get out and do something so I’m visiting my sister. It’s nice but I still can’t shake this feeling....I’m having lame side effects to the fluoxetine. I know they will go away but it feels like it’s taking forever. It’s been about 2 weeks...I’m still so anxious and scared all the time...I’m having such a hard time sleeping..hopefully I start feeling better soon..

hi, I have been on fluoxetine 20mg for 4 weeks now. the side effects are not as bad but I do keep getting quite anxious. I so my gp yesterday who is very good, she told me she would keep me on the same dose for another month and by then we would know if they are working for me. 2 weeks is early days so give them time, but if they do concern you see your gp or ask the pharmacist. wishing you all the best x
