As I've said I'm really tired like a zombie through the day and it was my last resort as I've been on a few antidepressants. I've tried all in a morning 3x 75mg, split the dose over the day and taken at 7pm.
I'm in a state of constant fatigue, so tired I can't bear it yet it makes me tired but I can't sleep. I was a psychiatric nurse and was desperate to get help as I'm not pretty much agoraphobic and so depressed but this yawning and tiredness is making me feel worse. I've been on Prozac and sertraline 150mg but I had an asthmatic reaction to duloxetine.
I just wondered if anyone had any suggestions as it's been about 6 weeks now and I don't know if I can continue on it due to the tiredness I feel.
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks

I stopped taking the Effexor also because it made me drowsy and felt like I was high on ecstasy. My worst symptom from taking Effexor was ibs. My stool would turn really hard and I would be in the restroom for almost an hour. It was very painful. Everyone is different so I don’t know if my advice would work, but before I took these meds for my anxiety I would expose myself outside and the anxiety would subside. Now that I’m on these meds it feels like there’s a knot in my brain that I can’t shake away and it feels like theres also a ball of anxiety trapped in my calves after taking these meds. I would say if it’s causing you more problems then you should slowly taper off these meds because from the sources I’ve gathered these drugs are dangerous. Don’t go cold turkey on Effexor it’s a bad idea. I did that and now my brain feels weird like my brain feels heavy like a rock.
If you feel that you are suffering intolerable side effects it's probably time for a medication review with your doctor or your pharmacist.
There are about 30 different medications available so on the balance of probabilities there is one out there for you. Unfortunately, as we can attest, it's a matter of trial and error
