Aristo is a relatively recent (March 2020) addition to the levothyroxine products available in the UK.

As always, experiences and opinions vary. What I've done is compile a list of posts which mention Aristo. Some are positive; some are negative. Some simply mention Aristo in passing.

If you want Accord it's repackaged as Almus for Boots and Northstar for Lloyds Pharmacy in 50mcg and 100mcg size tablets. Exactly the same as Accord.

Hi, I take Aristo and get on fine with them. I take them because they are lactose free.

Hi Owleyes,

I also take Aristo. I've only recently been prescribed levo and tried with Wockhardt but struggled with digestive issues due to the lactose in that brand. So I'm now on Aristo as it's lactose and mannitol free.

Best wishes.

I've been given Aristo for months now. I assume because they pharmacy can get these the cheapest. I haven't had a problem with them. I don't tolerate Teva brand, and I've had that put on my records.

The only thing I've found with Aristo is that they're a bit crumbly, and start to dissolve when I put them in my mouth.

Not what you're looking for?
