Not yet. I phoned the company and they have given me the name of the place they order them from and the PIP code to give the chemist. I'm due to put in my prescription so will be asking in the next couple of days. I will let you know how I get on.

So I went to the chemist last night and gave him the details the company gave me. He said its ordered through Alliance or part of Alliance, but no one will order it for me as its more expensive and the NHS won't reimburse them. He said I will have to get Aristo stated on my prescription. So back to the drs I guess!

Alliance are part of the Walgreen Boots Alliance group.

If it wasn't a branch of Boots you tried, just maybe worth calling up a branch of Boots?

Update on Aristo. So I got Aristo added to my prescription. Went into boots and they said they couldn't get it. Went into my usual chemist on the off chance as its next door to see if they could get it and low and behold they had it in stock!!!! It was only a month ago they said I would be lucky to get it as NHS won't pay it back to them! Chemists confuse me!! But I now have it so fingers crossed it will help with the bloating!

Thanks for posting back about what happened.

It is your bizarre type of experience which convinced me that if there is any doubt we should contact the maker. Some pharmacists, at least as individuals, are wonderful. But I don't think we can just trust what they say.
