So I’ve upped my thyroxine dosage and the hospital after quite a lot of looking has found some Aristo 100mcg thyroxine.
I cannot find any local to me after a lot of searching, I’m wanting to be able to put my scripts in as normal from a chemist but no one I know in South Yorkshire has even heard of Aristo brand.
Do any of you know a chemist I can send my slips too that are able to obtain Aristo? This would really help me.
I’ve found Aristo suit me, no more trips to the toilet like the wockhardt brand gave me due to the lactose. I did not realise how bad they gave me diarrhoea.
Thank you.

If none of your local pharmacies are willing to help, you might do better by contacting one of the many internet pharmacies. I know it can be more awkward but if the difference is significant (as you say it is), it might be worth it.
However, before committing to that, maybe ring round all the pharmacies you could reach? Could well be that a tiny backstreet outfit can help? Or one of the chains which you happen to have missed?
I am pleased to hear that you find it helps - always good to receive this sort of information.
Thank you for responding, just did not know if anyone on here had knowledge of a reliable chemist that dose help source this brand. I’m told mawdsley wholesale do it but none of my chemists use this stockist.Well pharmacy don’t use it, Cohen’s don’t, Boots don’t.
Which online ones are good and how do they work? Do you send an image of your script of physically post it?
I’ve had a headache on and off since starting the Aristo but it might not be that. My stomach is so much better. I just wish they were available up north as Teva is horrible stuff.
Can anyone help from the Aristo thread? Pretty desperate to obtain these as I’m allergic to most Levo and it’s the first time I’ve found one that works for me. Help.
